You can certainly have a tubal reversal at age 40. Burning or coagulating the tubes in two or even three places is fairly common. According to our long term follow-up study of thousands of tubal reversal patients, the chance of becoming pregnant at age 40 after tubal coagulation is approximately 1 in 3 (see Table 5 on this website page: http://press.tubal-reversal.net/2009/pregnancy-rates-by-age-and-tubal-ligation-method.html).
