There is no arbitrary age limit for having a tubal reversal procedure. As long as you are having regular menstrual cycles and are ovulating, there is a chance to become pregnant after tubal reversal surgery. If you are over 40, a serum FSH assay may provide useful information about the reservoir of eggs remaining in the ovaries. You can also use an ovulation predictor kit (OPK) to test for ovulation if there is any question about it.
