QUESTION AND ANSWER
How old is too old to have a tubal reversal?
May 08, 2014
After a tubal reversal, there is an increased risk of ectopic pregnancy. In the normal population (meaning women who have not had a tubal ligation followed by a tubal reversal), their chance of having an ectopic pregnancy is 1 percent. In the population of women who've had a tubal ligation then reversal, their chance of having an ectopic pregnancy is 10 percent. This risk can be managed by seeing your doctor with every early pregnancy.
