Yes, I would perform a tubal reversal for you. Although fertility is low for women in their late forties, pregnancy is still possible if you are having regular menstrual cycles. The surgery is safe and gives you the chance to become pregnant. The alternative treatment of in vitro fertilization would not offer a better chance unless you chose to use donor eggs from a woman in her twenties, in which case the pregnancy rate would be much better. The oldest patient of mine who has delivered a baby after tubal reversal was 52 at the time of birth.
