I underwent tubal ligation, can it be reserved with tubal reversal?

Tubes that have been cut, tied and burned usually can be repaired with tubal reversal surgery. In a study of over 5000 of my patients who underwent tubal ligation reversal, the pregnancy rate was 66% when the tubes had been burned or tied/cut/burned. This was the average for women of all ages. Younger women have pregnancy rates higher than this, while older women have pregnancy rates that are lower than the overall pregnancy rate.
