Is it normal to have heavy menstruation after Tubal Reversal?

Some women report having changes in their menstrual periods including such symptoms as heavy bleeding, longer bleeding, or more pain after having a tubal ligation. This is not "normal" or usual, but does affect an unknown percentage of women post tubal ligation. Sometimes it is referred to as "Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome". We have been conducting a study of menstrual changes that have been reported by women after their tubal ligation and then what happens after a tubal ligation reversal.
