QUESTION AND ANSWER
Is tubal ligation by fimbriectomy reversable?
Jan 10, 2012
Tubal ligation by fimbriectomy can be reversed with the technique called ampullary salpingostomy. The success of this procedure is related to how much of the end of the tube was removed when the fimbriectomy was performed. Ampullary salpingostomy has a pregnancy rate of approximately 50%. Gary S.
