There are several different types of tubal ligations that can be performed through laparoscopy (belly-button surgery). These include tubal rings, tubal clips, and electrocoagulation. In almost all cases, these can be repaired. The only way you can know for sure what type of tubal ligation you have had is to get a copy of your operative report from the hospital where your tubal ligation was done.
