QUESTION AND ANSWER
Which is associated with a higher success rate? Tubal reversal versus invitro
Jan 10, 2012
Our study of over 5000 tubal reversal patients shows that tubal reversal has a higher success rate than IVF. The reason for this is that once the tubes are repaired, there is a chance to conceive each month thereafter, whereas with IVF it is a onetime possibility. With IVF, if pregnancy does not occur, then another treatment cycle has to be done to have another chance to conceived.
