You can have a tubal reversal. No one can know in advance whether you will conceive or not, and if so, what the outcome of the pregnancy will be. However, based on followup statistics of over 5000 patients, if you have your surgery in our practice, the probability of conceiving at age 40 will be about 50%. One-third to one-half of pregnancies among women in their forties miscarry. So the probability of successfully carrying a pregnancy and having a baby after tubal reversal at your age is about 25%.
